Often we feel that we will never reach the ideal family, that postcard image in which father actually does know best and the kids listen to him! Yet no matter how imperfect,it is important to remember that our families are holy, for they are gifts of God. And as maddening as families can sometimes be, they deserve our greatest attention. Research shows again and again that men have a powerful influence on the faith life of families, on the self-image of our children, and on the well-being of every one of our immediate and extended family relations, particularly our partner for life. These sessions help to explore ways that can take a positive, active role in leading our families in faith and in helping them to thrive in the world.
